Ginza in Narbertd

Been going here with my mom for 15 years now. Always the friendliest and warmest service, plus great and interesting food. Have been talking about the wasabi steak that I ordered extra spicy and made me cry as a kid for years... what a nice place!

Fresh sushi, teriyakis and salads. The staff including the servers are very friendly. The owner also kindly greats you at the door. Free edamame is given to your table. Highly recommend!

The menu in the link from google is wrong. For instance, I got sushi reg. The menu from the link says 15.00, but got there and saw a printed menu and it was 22.00. For is great though. Would definetely go again, but the online menu should be removed or updated.

We lived in Japan for 12 years and this is our favorite Japanese restaurant! Kind ownership and good service. We've been eating here for more than 16 years!

Excellent service. Warm and welcoming. The restaurant seemed a bit empty but it was a Monday night. This place is BYOB so we brought a bottle of wine. Everyone greeted us upon entering and it was great. We were seated right away in another room. It was nice to have the space to ourselves. The waitress was observant and brought wine glasses over right away and asked if she could cork our bottle. We ordered the agadashi tofu (a personal favorite anywhere), the sushi for 2 and two other rolls. Each piece was delicious and I especially loved the sweet potato roll. Yum! We will be back for our next sushi craving.

I know it doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside the place is well maintained. Plus the staff really do give it their all; they know a bunch of the locals by name, which is always a good sign at a restaurant, especially one where they serve raw seafood. A neighborhood gem.

I love their Yakitori and their Tempura! The staff are friendly and even offer warm Sake at the table! I have enjoyed every visit!

I have been coming here since I was 5 years old, amazing!!!! Best rolls in Lower Merion. The workers there are so nice and make you feel like you are at home. Not the fanciest restaurant, but top quality in food and service. My favorite roll is the honey moon roll, and Hong Kong dragon.

I happened to be invited to a family lunch at Ginza Restaurant exactly a year from eating in Ginza, Tokyo, Japan. Of course, there's no comparison. But, from a local eatery point of view, everything here was decent and clean, albeit Americanized.

BYOB, good service, Affordable price, delicious sushi and huge pieces!

The sushi is this place isn't thaaaat much special, big pieces and good prices, but what really makes this a 5 start restaurant is the service, the costumer service at Ginza is amazing, the manager and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Excellent for big parties, BYOB!

I'm here for uber eats

I was never a raw fish or "sushi" fan, but my family loves it so we always try to find a new place for Friday night family dinners. Well, let me tell you - this place is no ordinary restaurant! The food is excellent, the sake is delicious, the staff are attentive and warm. I refuse to eat anywhere else if I'm in a sushi mood. The location is great, parking lot, clean tables, friendly wait staff, reasonable prices - it's just very, very good and I cannot recommend it enough!

Great sushi at a rather unsuspecting location. Excellent service. And be sure to ask for a beer or glass of wine with your meal (gratis). Specialty rolls are always excellent, creative, and BIG! But if you're a sushi fan, then you'll be pleased to know that the balance of fish and rice is excellent.

Friendly staff, quality sushi

Great overall experience. Stopped by with family first time. Wasn't too crowded & service was great. We had a group of almost 10 people & everyone enjoyed their food. Sushi was fresh! Enjoyed the Ginger Dressing Salad. We would definitely recommend.

Very fresh food

Horrible service! We ordered food for pick up and they gave us the wrong order. They also repeatedly lied to us that the food will be done any minutes. After eating at this place for 15+ years, we are stopping to go. Really missed the previous owner - a very nice gentleman.

Great food and okay ambiance. Japanese food is always on the higher end of the price scale for meals, but Gin Za is reasonable keeping that in mind.

Great service, but the sushi rolls were mediocre especially for the price. The menu pricing I looked up on google was also a considerable amount lower than what was on the menu in the restaurant.

Really nice staff with the owner always there. Really good traditional food that's quite fresh. Nice sushi bar as well as normal seating. Not a bad price for what you're getting too.

One of the best Japanese preparations of eel I’ve had. I ordered Unaju and it came in a plastic “lacquer” container with a lid, which was nice and seems traditional for how Unaju is prepared. It can be hard to eat a lot of eel because it’s so flavorful, and the Unaju that I had was flavorful, but i don’t know it was surprisingly fresh tasting and easy to eat in that quantity. I’ll have to try other things on the menu to really say if the experience is consistent but if you like eel, try the Unaju.

Been eating at this place for over 10 years, second generations owner. Great sushi, great service, very warm friendly staffs. The previous late owner was so kind and sweet, now is his son's turn to run the joint, like father like son. Great people. We love them so much, support them as much as we can, we have celebrated many birthdays and others special occasions.

Excellent service and food. After the founder passed away, the son took over and there were a few rough edges at first. I am happy to say all of the links have been worked out beautifully and Gin Za is back to its original fantastic dining experience.

Love this place. Very family friendly, great, fesh fish, great service, the owner now is the second generation, we loved our belated previous one, and now we love his son as much. They are always surprised you with compliment dishes from the house.

Had one of the daily specials - yakatori. Yummy. Tempura veggies were very lightly crispy. Excellent. Of course, their sushi rolls are very good also.

Sunny July day - July 25th 2019 - a very nice and cozy restaurant. The foor is delicious. And our server ("Alora") was lovely and kind. The outside seems a bit outdated but the inside is well decorated and neat. I will definitely come again
